what happens when you want your partner to have virtues like your father,
and yet you picked up these virtues yourself.
which should be good.
right?

wrong.
because you end up suffering,
always hoping, wishing, praying, that some miracle will work,
hoping that the other half would see what you see
wishing that the inner soul could be heard
praying that god would grant the grace wisdom and self control

may there be a miracle.
loving is a test, its never easy to love
that's why maybe god sent his son to die.

this is the most beautiful poem ive ever read,

At mating time the hippo's voice

The Church, at being one with God.

The hippopotamus's day
